About Our Club
We are a community of young professionals in Nairobi turning the idea of Rotary in Action into real change — through service, leadership, and lasting friendship.
Young leaders, taking action together
The Rotaract Club of Hurlingham brings together young adults aged 18–30 who want to develop themselves while making a difference. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hurlingham, we are part of a global movement of Rotaractors taking action in their communities and around the world.
We meet, we serve, and we grow — running community projects, building professional and leadership skills, and forming meaningful connections that cross borders. Everything we do is grounded in our motto, Service Above Self.

What Rotaract is all about
Rotaract was launched by Rotary International in 1968 to give young adults a place of their own within the Rotary family. Today, thousands of Rotaract clubs in nearly every country bring together members aged 18–30 to exchange ideas with leaders in their community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.
Rotaractors run their own clubs and projects, sponsored and mentored by a Rotary club — for us, the Rotary Club of Hurlingham. We organise community service, raise funds for causes we care about, partner across borders, and grow into the responsible citizens and future Rotarians of tomorrow. It is, quite simply, Rotary in Action.

The Rotary Club of Hurlingham
Chartered in 1989, the Rotary Club of Hurlingham is our sponsoring “mother” club — a community of business and professional leaders bonded by the desire of Service Above Self. They mentor our members, guide our projects, and connect us to the wider world of Rotary.
Enhance, serve, connect
To provide an opportunity for Rotaractors to enhance their knowledge and skills that assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
